We would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to Jacqui Matheson who on the first of November hosted a very successful ladies fundraising lunch at Casa Mia in Dumfries. The event was well attended and an amazing 114.95 Kg of food was donated to the Dumfriesshire foodbank. Alongside the Dumfriesshire foodbank Jacqui raised £2600 for Marie Curie, 200 bras and 190 pants for the Smalls for all appeal, charity which helps women and children in Africa meet their most basic hygiene and security needs and £135 for the Sunshine group, a parent and toddler support group for families who have a pre-school child with additional support needs. Overall it was really a successful event Thank you to everyone who donated to all of these amazing charities, to Jacqui for her hard work and to Casa Mia for their hospitality.
