So, January was seen in with the Dumfriesshire
Foodbank’s private showing of ‘I Daniel Blake’ which was
organised by our lovely volunteer Jacquie Matheson and
hosted at the Robert Burn Theatre. It was a fantastic
success and sell out. A special thanks to the Robert Burns
for donating the ticket money to our foodbank which was
£567.00 and our raffle brought in £267.90. After the
viewing the audience were then asked to join a panel of
representatives from the Dumfriesshire Foodbank with
guest speaker Euan Gurr from The Trussell Trust. A great
day thank you to all involved.
