Dumfriesshire foodbank was so happy with the response from our local schools, churches, businesses and the public when it came to the annual collection during the Harvest period. Information packs were sent out to try to help us collect as much food as we could to get us through to the winter. A special thanks to Jacquie Matheson who attended as many Harvest assemblies as she possibly could, resulting in a mass collection. Crystal Stevenson collected the food from a few of the schools and was so touched by the response of the children and how proud they were to have been part of this collection.
